Who We Are

Giving Hope, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that serves individuals and families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in Denton County, Texas. Our agency receives federal, state, and local government grants as well as funds from private donors and other grant makers. Since 1986, our housing assistance programs have helped thousands to stabilize and become self-sufficient.

Today we are a Front Door to the Texas Balance of State Continuum of Care. Our staff performs street outreach, case management, and advocacy through collaboration with community partners for support services. We provide rental and utility assistance for eligible participants, with specific programs for persons with disabilities and veterans.

Giving Hope serves individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness through advocacy, community collaboration, and rental assistance.

Respect for human dignity drives us to promote self-reliance that cultivates self-respect.

Our goal is to deliver prevention and intervention that results in more than a place to stay but the means to stabilize. We strive for continuous improvement so that we can model the integrity and accountability we hope to encourage in our community.
